VMS improves the plannability of SAP rollouts
VMS regularly supports rollout projects because the forecasting methods based on the VMS Benchmark and our reference database contribute significant experience from the operation of large SAP systems of other firms to these projects.
Typical tasks include:
- support in establishing the optimal operational environment. This is based on prognoses (forecasts) of the operating costs of the planned SAP system. These prognoses are used to plan and control the infrastructure of server systems, software and support to be established.
- Sizing. The basis of this service are the planning data calculated according to VMS parameters and, later, the measuring data of the real system together with the comparative?/reference? data from the VMS database.
- If the systems operations and application management for the new SAP system are to be outsourced to internal or external service providers, VMS will assist you in negotiations with these providers and will advise you on all matters concerning design that arise, such as defining the SLA and dimensioning the computer.
- VMS also offers additional competent support in evaluation, planning and classifying the resulting costs based on data available to VMS.
