The VMS benchmark base covers all critical structural parameters of SAP landscapes. It includes not only the conventional ERP but also the rather more specialized applications such as BW, CRM, SRM, APO, XI, portals etc.

And the database contains a broad range of industries: discrete parts manufacturing, process manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, consumer packaged goods, services, IT services, financial services, trading, media and energy. Companies of various different sizes (ranging from multinationals to the medium-sized business sector) are also represented in the data-pool.

The VMS benchmark base also contains various different business models such as owner-operated businesses, outsourcing, nearshoring and offshoring.
