SAP optimizer VMS is extending its services. Thanks to its own, specially developed method which it uses to mathematically calculate measuring SAP systems, the Heidelberg-based company is now achieving a depth of detail in its Benchmarks that it has never obtained before. With immediate effect, VMS is now offering a new consultancy service in addition to its existing services.

VMS produces its report from the data collected by its DataCollector. This report contains detailed and action-oriented recommendations on how the information obtained from the Benchmark can be implemented. Whereas implementation was previously the task of the client company, in future VMS will be assisting the company with this challenge as well.

With its newly established advisory service, VMS will offer its clients advice which will actively assist them in their implementation work. "Many companies told us they wanted us to help them to implement the recommendations made in the Report", says Ralph Treitz, managing director of VMS, explaining the reasons for VMS extending its activities. "When we conduct a Benchmark, we usually work closely with the CIOs but implementation is often delegated to others. If these people are not involved in the process from the start, problems can arise. That's why we're now offering to provide one of our experienced employees to assist in the implementation process by offering advice."

The first new member of the advisory service team is Matthias Schmitt. Before he came to VMS, he was an IT strategist at Vattenfall Europe AG and has many years of experience in implementing optimization measures.
